Catenda will be at BIM World in Paris 28-29 March on the stand of our partner, major property developer Bougyes Immobilier, joining them on stand 401 to talk about Bimsync.

Bouygues Immobilier currently has 45 active BIM projects, with 750 Bimsync users in total. 500 of these are partners, architects, engineers and contractors.

“We want to show our commitment to an actual open BIM policy, not just in words, but also showcasing the tools we are using to enforce this policy. Having Catenda as a partner is a strong message towards the open BIM policy,” says Simon Moreau from Bougyues Immobilier.

Bouygues Immobilier is a leading private property developer in France and Europe, with 1,879 employees at 31 December 2016 and sales of €2,568 million in 2016. With 33 branches in France and four outside France, the company has nearly 60 years' experience in developing residential, corporate and commercial projects for customers in more than 250 towns and cities.

“A large part of our clients are French. Bouygues Immobilier and Groupe Legendre have played a key role in opening up this market to us", Catenda CEO Håvard Bell states. “It is a very interesting market, and it is very motivating to see how the French construction industry has matured on the BIM field the past few years. We look very much forward to talk to the BIM community and get new ideas and new clients at this year’s BIM World.”

Since the early days of the company, Catenda has played an active role in promoting open BIM and improving the international standardization work that buildingSMART International are doing. Our software supports the world of open BIM, and contributes to tear down the digital walls that prevent the construction industry from becoming data driven.

Earlier this month, Catenda got a new reseller in France, MBA City. We will also be present at stand 423 with them to talk about open BIM and Bimsync.
