How to deploy BIM throughout a large company

  • Anchor the digital strategy on the highest level in the company to ensure speed
  • Set clear goals: number of projects, how many employees should be involved by what time etc
  • Put the new methods to use in pilot projects to make stakeholders realise that it is valuable for them.
  • Establish your own workflow standards, and then implement them in all projects.
  • Make educational material for all staff, build training session based on practice and offer it to everyone in the company. Can be reproduced to all suppliers.
  • BIM makes no sense if we do it alone, so one possibility is to establish an organisation like BIM by Egis to deploy it throughout the company and all the stakeholders.
